I’ve used the GoSpectro to perform a quick assessment of the optical filters installed on my flow cytometers. I have found that some longpass dichroics that were manufactured for use on laser lines longer than 488 can have significant leakage in the violet range of the spectrum, making them inappropriate to use with shorter wavelength excitation.
The GoSpectro has been incredibly useful in my active core facility to identify filters that should not be switched between different laser lines, preventing loss of signal from sub-optimal filter profiles.
